The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of POE strategy on geometric thinking of seventh grade students in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (66) seventh grade students selected using purposeful sampling method and distributed randomly into two equal groups: Experimental group taught using POE strategy, while control group taught using traditional method. To achieve the objectives of the study, semi expermintal design was employed using geometric thinking test after checking its validity and reliability. The results found statistically significant differences between the means scores in the total score and the sub-domains of geometric thinking considering the teaching method, in favor of POE. Considering the results, the researchers recommended training math teachers on POE due to its effectiveness in enhancing the different skills of students, so they become able to employ it in the class.
