Barriers to Physical Activity among Students with Visual Impairment in Jordanian Universities and their Relationship to their Feeling of Alienation

This study aimed at findiny out to obstacles to physical activity in students with visual impairments in Jordanian universities and their relationship to the feeling of alienation in them, The study used the descriptive analytical methodology, and applied to a sample of (293) students with visual disabilities enrolled in Jordanian universities, The study used the scale of obstacles to physical activities and the measure of alienation Kadawt to collect evidence, and the results of the study indicated that The a medium of the responses of the members of the study sample on the dimensions of physical activity impediments in students with visual impairments in Jordanian universities came to an means degree, and that the level of feeling of alienation among students with visual impairment in Jordanian universities came to an medium degree, and the existence of a statistically significant direct relationship between the obstacles to physical activity and the feeling of alienation, and at the end of the study recommended the need to work to raise the awareness of society to change the inferior view and irrational ideas towards individuals with visual impairments through the media and the holding of seminars, workshops and training courses.
