The Role of Mass Centers administration in Students' skills Development in the Northern District within the Green Line - Suggestions and solutions-

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of the mass centers administration in developing the skills of students affiliated with the mass centers from the viewpoint of teachers and principals in north of the Green Line. The mixed method was used, quantitatively and qualitatively. The study sample consisted of (475) prineipals and teachers. The questionnaire was used as a tool for the study, as well as an interview was conducted with (30) members of the study sample, from the principals and teachers. Where the results of the study showed the following: The role of the administration of mass centers in developing students ’skills in schools of the Northern District within the Green Line came to a large degree, as the results showed the existence of problems facing the administration of the mass centers in the Northern District within the Green Line in developing students’ skills represented by the lack of sufficient budgets to carry out activities and to spread violence among students. The study also concluded that the mass centers play an effective role in developing mass responsibility among students, youth and all categories of society, and thus complement the role of both the family and the school in terms of encouraging cooperation, and finding appropriate opportunities for social interaction and building friendships, and social relations, as community centers contribute to a vital role in providing individuals affiliated with the centers with information about their society, its values ​​and culture, which prepares them to understand the needs of the community in which they live, and to identify its problems, and participate in developing suggestions and solutions to them. In light of the results of the study, the study recommended that The principals of the mass centers enhance their role in enhancing community service through the participation of each director in preparing and implementing seminars and meetings to reduce extremes defame negative socialism, and its contribution to evaluating mass projects in cooperation with community organizations and government institutions according to the objectives of the mass centers.
