The Degree of Practicing Ethical Leadership of the School Principals in Al Koura Directorate from Teachers’ Point of View

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the degree of practicing ethical leadership of the school principals in Al Koura Directorate from teachers’ point of view, The descriptive methodology was used, To collect the data of the study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of (30) items. Validity and reliability of the tool were assured, The study sample consisted of (315) teachers chosen by using stratified random sample method. The results of the study showed that the degree of  the practice of school principals in Al Koura Directorate schools for ethical leadership from teachers' point of view as a whole is medium. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at (α ≤0.05) between the average responses of the estimates of the individuals of the study sample in the degree of the practice of school principals in Al Koura schools for ethical leadership to the variables of gender, educational qualification,  and years of experience in the total score, and for all fields. In light of the results, the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Encouraging secondary school principals to use the democratic method in managing school affairs, and involving teachers in making school decisions.
