Abstract

This study aimed at finding out the degree of academic optimism among public secondary school teachers in the Capital Amman governorate and its relationship to some variables. The sample of the study consisted of (291) male and female teachers. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The results of the study showed that the degree of academic optimism for teachers was medium. Furthermore, the results indicated that there were no significant differences at (α=0.05) in the degree of academic optimism for teachers in public secondary schools in Amman Governorate, attributed to sex, academic qualification, and experience variables.
