The current study aimed to discover the level of meta-emotional skills and emotional regulation strategies among mothers of children with cancer. The sample of the study consisted of (102) mothers of children with cancer in the House of Wisdom Association at Irbid. Moreover, to achieve the objectives of the study two scales were used: meta-emotional skills (Paterson, et al, 2012), and the emotional regulation strategies scale (Araujo, et al, 2020). The results of the study showed that the level of meta-emotional skills and emotional regulation strategies among mothers of children with cancer was low, as well as there was a positive correlation between the level of meta-emotional skills and emotional regulation strategies among mothers of children with cancer. One of the most prominent recommendations was developing meta-emotional skills and emotional regulation strategies among mothers of children with cancer through treatment programs that focus on emotions.
