Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of educational supervisors ’commitment to professional ethics from the point of view of teachers and school principals in the Bani Kenana district. The study relied on the descriptive survey methodology. A questionnaire consisting of (18) items was developed and its validity and reliability were verified and distributed to a sample chosen in a randomized, accessible method. Of (520) principals and teachers, the results of the study showed that the degree of commitment of the educational supervisors to professional ethics from the teachers and school principals’ point of view was of a high degree. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of commitment of the educational supervisors to professional ethics due to the variable (job title), and it came in favor of (the principals), and it showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the two variables (gender and experience). The study recommended continuing commitment to the professional ethics of the educational supervisors. In general, by studying the causes and factors that enhance the level of practicing and observing professional ethics.
