The Degree of Student Union Contribution in Limiting Violence at the Public Universities in Jordan from the View Points of Students' affairs Employees in University Deanships

This study aimed at identifying the degree to which Students’ Unions at the public universities of Jordan contributes to eliminate violence from the perspective of the employees of the students' affairs deanships. The sample consisted of (300) employees of students affairs deanships. A questionnaire was developed to accomplish the purpose of this study.
The study showed the following results:
The degree to which Students’ Unions at the public universities of Jordan contributes to eliminate violence from the perspective of the employees of the students affairs deanships was moderate, with an average of (3.01) and and a standard deviation of (0.60). In addition to, apparent differences were showed among arithmetic averages of the level of the employees' perspectives of the degree to which the Students’ Unions at the public universities of Jordan contribute to eliminate violence, in accordance to the career position changes; as the category of (Head of Division) obtained the highest arithmetic average (3.23), and the category of (Dean) obtained the lowest arithmetic average (2.33).
