Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the practice degree of the school adminstrators for management control and its relation to the functional performance of teachers from the perspective of managers and teachers in the governorate of Al. Batinah South in the Sultanate of Oman. The study sample consisted of (527) male and female teachers, and (69) male and female administrators.

Means, standard deviations, self-correlation coefficient, were computed to answer the study questions. The study results showed that practice degree of the school administrators for management control was high. The study results also showed that the level of functional performance of teachers was also high. The study also demonstrated the existence of a positive relationship between the administrators' practice for the management control and the functional performance level for teachers.
