Proposed Educational Administrative Rules to Confront Administrative Toxicity in Education Directorates in Palestine in light of the Reality and Contemporary Trends in Professional Ethics

Abstract

The study aimed to propose educational administrative rules to confront administrative toxicity in the directorates of education in Palestine in light of the reality and contemporary trends in professional ethics. To achieve the objective of the study, a 55-items questionnaire was developed, distributed over four domains: toxic leadership, toxic work environment, toxic individuals, and deviant behaviors in the workplace. The study sample consisted of (322) employees. The results showed that the degree of prevalence of administrative toxicity in the directorates of education in Palestine was medium, as the mean was (2.43), with a standard deviation of (0.77). based on the results, the researchers built educational administrative rules to confront administrative toxicity in the directorates of education in Palestine, and ensured their suitability for the Palestinian environment and recommended to the Palestinian Ministry of Education to apply them.
