This study aimed at investigating the effect of implementing a training program based on clinical supervision model on developing teaching practices among English language teachers in secondary schools. A quasi-experimental design was followed to answer the questions of the study during the first semester of the academic year 2024 – 2025. A convenient sample of 32 EFL teachers, working in Sahab Directorate public school, was distributed randomly to a control group (16 teachers) and to an experimental group (16 teachers). The experimental group was trained using a training program based on clinical supervision, whereas the control group was trained using the conventional method accredited by the Ministry of Education in Jordan. A competency test as pre-\post-test was used for data collection. The researchers used descriptive methodology and ANCOVA test. The study revealed statistically significant differences in the mean scores at (α=0.05) of the participants concerning their instructional performance improvement in favor of the experimental group. The study also revealed no statistically significant differences at (α=0.05) between the mean scores of the teachers' instructional performance improvement attributed to gender, and qualification. The researchers recommended adopting training programs based on clinical supervision and conducting further studies on a wider scope.
