Abstract

The current study aimed to know the effectiveness of a training program to develop teachers' skills in using evidence-based practices in teaching students with disabilities and developing their perceived self-efficacy. The sample consisted of (60) male and female teachers working in inclusive schools in Jordan, Madaba Governorate Education Directorate. The sample was divided into two groups: the experimental group, numbering (30) male and female teachers, and the control group, numbering (30) male and female teachers. To achieve the study objectives, the study tools were constructed and their validity and reliability were verified. The results showed the effectiveness of the training program in developing teachers' skills in using evidence-based practices in teaching students with disabilities in inclusive schools in Jordan. The results also showed the effectiveness of the program in developing teachers' perceived self-efficacy. The study recommended the necessity of enhancing teachers' skills in using evidence-based practices and developing their competencies in teaching students with disabilities. in inclusive schools.
