This study aimed to identify teachers' perceptions of using artificial intelligence-based applications in teaching mathematics at the secondary level, and identify the challenges facing teachers in using these applications. To achieve the study objectives, the researchers used the descriptive analytical methodology, additionally a field study during which a questionnaire consisting of two axes with (20) items was applied to a sample of (80) mathematics teachers at the secondary level in the city of Taif. The results revealed that teachers' perceptions toward using artificial intelligence were highly positive, with significant agreement. The main challenges identified included a lack of training and technical support in schools, alongside concerns that these technologies may diminish the role of teachers.
