Electronic Media and its Role in Developing Environmental Awareness among Students of Public Jordanian Universities

The study aimed to identify the role of electronic media in developing environmental awareness among students of public Jordanian universities from their point of view. To achieve the study objectives, the descriptive survey methodology was used, and the study tool was distributed to a proportional stratified random sample consisting of undergraduate students at: (University of Jordan, Mu'tah University and Yarmouk University), consisting of (784) male and female students. The results showed a medium level of knowledge in the field of environmental awareness among students, and the presence of media orientation about the role of electronic media in developing environmental awareness among students from their point of view. At the level of domains, the impact of electronic media in developing environmental awareness in the behavioral domai came in the first degree, then came the emotional domai, while the cognitive domai came in the last degree.
