The Effect of a Digital Educational Program Based on Scaffolding in Improving Skills of Computer Course and Attitudes Toward Learning it among Basic Tenth Grade Students in Jordan

This study aimed to investigate the effect of a digital educational program based on scaffolding in improving skills of computer course and attitudes toward learning it among basic tenth-grade female students in Jordan during the second semester 2023-2024. To achieve the aim of the study, the experimental method with quasi -experimental design was used. The study involved 51 female students from a school in Al-Muwaqqar District, Jordan. Those participants were divided into two groups: the experimental group (26 students) and the control group (25 students). Data were collected using a skills test and a scale to measure attitudes toward the computer course, both of which were validated for reliability and validity. The findings revealed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group in both the skills test and the scale of attitudes toward learning computers course. The study recommend that computer teachers should adopt the digital educational program based on scaffolding due to its positive impact on improving students’ attitudes toward learning computer and enhancing their computer skills.
