This study aimed to investigate the effect of teaching based "REACT" learning model in acquiring algebraic concepts and their generalizations among basic ninth grade students. The study adopted the experimental methodology and the quasi-experimental design. The analysis tool consisted of testing the acquisition of algebraic concepts and their generalizations has been prepared and then it was tested for its validity and reliability. The study subjects were selected from the basic 9th grade students. The study sample consisted of (88) students. The students were distributed randomly; experimental group (44) students who studied according to the "REACT" learning model, and the control group (44) students, who studied through ordinary method. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α=0.05) in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended encouraging mathematics teachers to adopt teaching topics in mathematics according to the teaching approach based on the REACT Learning Model.
