Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the impact of using educational electronic games as a teaching method in the science subject on developing scientific curiosity among fifth-grade female students in the Directorate of Education in Irbid’s Kasbah District. To achieve the study's objectives, a scientific curiosity questionnaire was prepared as the primary research tool, and the experimental method with a quasi-experimental design was employed. The sample consisted of 44 female students selected purposively and distributed into two academic divisions. One division was randomly assigned as the experimental group, consisting of 22 students, who were taught using the educational electronic games method. The other division, also consisting 22 students, served as the control group and was taught using the traditional method. The results of the study revealed statistically significant differences attributed to the teaching method, in favor of the experimental group. This generally indicates that employing the educational electronic games method significantly enhances the scientific curiosity of fifth-grade female students.
