The Degree of Practicing Effective Teaching Skills among Science Teachers in the Basic Stage in the Directorate of Education in the Al-Koura District in Light of some Variables

The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing effective teaching skills among science teachers in the basic stage in the Directorate of Education in the Al-Koura District in light of some variables. The study followed the descriptive methodology and used a questionnaire as a tool for the study. After verifying its validity and reliability, it was applied to (218) teachers. The results indicated that the degree of practicing effective teaching skills among science teachers in the basic stage obtained a mean of (3.31 out of 5) with a verbal rating of (average). The study results revealed no statistically significant differences in the degree of practicing effective teaching skills among science teachers attributed to gender variable, while there were statistically significant differences in the degree of practicing effective teaching skills among science teachers attributed to years of experience. Considering these results, a set of recommendations was proposed focusing on attention to effective teaching skills.
