A Proposed Ethical Administrative System for Academic Leaders in Palestinian Universities Based on Contemporary Trends in Professional Ethics

Abstract

The study aimed to propose an ethical administrative system for academic leaders in Palestinian universities in light of contemporary trends in professional ethics. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive (analytical-synthetic) methodology was used. The findings revealed inconsistencies in practices and weaknesses in transparency, along with organizational and political challenges. The study proposed an ethical administrative system for academic leaders in Palestinian universities. The study recommended adopting the proposed ethical administrative system as it seeks to establish justice, integrity, responsibility, and transparency, thus enhancing the effectiveness of academic leadership and responding to the specificities of the Palestinian context.
