Abstract

The current study aimed to assess the levels of professional calling, Professional motivation, and proactive personality among professional changers in Jordan. Additionally, it aimed to estimate the contribution of professional calling and Professional Motivation in predicting proactive personality among professional changers in Jordan. A descriptive predictive methodology was utilized. To achieve the study's objectives, scales for professional calling, Professional Motivation, and proactive personality were developed, and their validity and reliability were assured. The study sample consisted of 130 individuals seeking professional development services in training centers across Jordan, as well as the white grain academy for training and development, selected using convenience sampling. results indicated that the levels of professional calling, Professional Motivation, and proactive personality were moderate among professional changers in Jordan. moreover, professional calling, and professional motivation played a significant role in predicting proactive personality, with each contributing to explaining changes in proactive personality to a certain extent. notably, professional calling had a greater predictive value for proactive personality compared to Professional Motivation. These findings can inform the development of training, development, and professional counseling programs aimed at enhancing proactive personality and professional performance among individuals in Jordan, thereby contributing to their personal and professional success and the advancement of institutions and organizations in the country.
