The study aimed to determine the impact of using the artificial intelligence application (ChatGPT) on the achievement of students in the computer skills course for humanistic colleges and their attitudes toward it at the University of Jordan. To achieve the study's goals, an experimental methodology with a quasi-experimental design based on pre and post-test for control and experimental groups was used. The study's participants were from two sections of the computer skills course for humanistic colleges, with a total of (76) students (40) in the experimental group and (36) in the control group. The study's tools consisted of an achievement test and an attitudes scale towards using the application. The validity and reliability of the study tools were verified. The results of the study showed statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups' performances in the achievement test and the attitudes of the experimental group students toward the ChatGPT application in the post-measurement attributed to the teaching method, favoring the experimental group students who were taught using the artificial intelligence application ChatGPT.
