The study aimed to identify the level of executive functions and self-regulated learning, and the relationship between executive functions and self-regulated learning among ninth and tenth grade students, who numbered (4,317) male and female students for the academic year 2023/2024. The study sample was (353) male and female students, who were selected by stratified random method from the capital, Amman. The study adopted the descriptive, correlational methodology, and two tools were used that were compatible with the study and its objectives. They were a measure of executive functions and a measure of self-regulated learning. The results showed that executive functions were at a medium level for the total score of the scale, as well as for the indicators of emotional control and cognitive control, and high for behavioral control. Self-regulated learning reached a high level. The results also showed a positive, statistically significant correlation between executive functions and self-regulated learning at the significance level (α = 0.01).
