The Impact of the Gamification Strategy on Improving the Conversation Skill of the Sixth Grade Students and their Attitudes Toward Learning the Arabic Language

Study aimed to identify the impact of gamification strategy on improving the conversational skill among basic sixth grade students and their Attitudes toward learning the Arabic language in Jordan. The experimental method with quasi-experimental design was used, and the psychometric characteristics of the study tools were confirmed, namely, an achievement test of conversational skill, and a measure of Attitudes towards learning the Arabic language. the tools were applied to the study sample of (35) students, where they were distributed to two experimental and control groups, the treatment was assigned to one of the two groups randomly, and the data were analyzed using variance analysis (ANCOVA), and the results indicated that the presence of significant differences at (0.05=α) in favor of the experimental group which studied according to the gamification strategy in the achievement test of conversational skill, and on the scale of Attitudes towards learning Arabic The study recommended the need to apply the gamification strategy in teaching the conversation skill.
