Social Studies Teachers Assessment of Democracy and Participation in Public Life in Jordan Textbook

This study was aimed at identifying the assessment of the “ Democracy and participation in public life” social studies teachers’ point of view, in Zarqa governorate, the sample was selected in a random manner, and it was based on the quantitative methodology. (61) items under (6) domains, validated and validated and distributed to sample size (281) teachers and social studies teachers, where the number who applied the teaching of the book (69) teachers, study results have shown no statistically significant differences at indicative level (α=0.05) Among the computational circles of teachers' estimates Class X and XI, the degree to which the book Democracy and Participation in Public Life contributes to students' democratic behaviour, and the values of responsible participation in public life attributable to variables (Gender, experience, scientific qualification, bachelor's degree).
