Abstract

This study aimed to reveal of the degree schools’ principals activatim professional learning communities of Al Jiza Directorate in the opinion of teachers. To achieve this goal, a descriptive survey approach has been used. The study sample has included (313) teachers of Al Jiza Directorate. The results were as following: The average of school’s principals’ activation of professional learning communities was (4.04) and the standard deviation was (0.62) with a high degree of implementation. In addition, the results have shown that there are no statistic indication differences in the teachers’ estimates of the activation degree of the schools’ principals to the professional learning communities connected to all study tool areas. All these areas contribute to the variant of the teacher gender. The results also reviled that there are no statistic indication differences in the teachers’ estimates of the activation degree of the schools’ principals to the professional learning communities’ principals to the professional learning communities connected to all study tool areas. All these areas contribute to the variant of the teachers’ years of experience. The study recommendation was to transfer the school’s principal’s activation of professional learning effect to other Education Directorates in Jordan, and to take advantage of the school’s principals’ expertise in activating professional learning communities to set general educational plans pop-up from the outcomes of those learning communities, based on research plans, especially for the professional learning communities at wide range.
