The Practicing Degree of the Supervisory Role of Vocational School Principals in Palestine as Resident Educational Supervisors and its Relation to some Variables

Abstract

The study aimed at revealing the practicing degree of the supervisory role of vocational school principals in Palestine. The study population consisted of all (19) principals and (357) vocational teachers in public vocational schools. The results of the study showed that the degree of practicing the supervisory roles was high for the total mean of (3.83) and standard deviation of (0.64), and for all the domains. And there were significant differences at (α=0.05) due to work nature and gender in favor of principals and male, and no significant differences due to experience and qualifications. The researchers recommended that an administrative educational guide has to be developed, to activate the supervisory role of vocational school’s principals in Palestine.
