Digital addiction among Public high school students in the Southern Shona District

The current study aimed to identify the level of digital addiction among secondary school students in the Southern Shona district from the point of view of the students themselves. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive survey methodology was used. The digital addiction questionnaire was developed, which included (18) items, and its validity and reliability were confirmed. It was distributed to secondary school students in the Southern Shona District, who numbered (384) male and female students. The results showed that Digital addiction among high school students was at a midum level. The results also revealed that there was a level of digital addiction attributed to the gender variable, as the differences were in favor of the male category, and there were no differences according to the variables of grade and educational track.
