Abstract

The study aimed to develop a proposed conceptualization of the role of organizational change in its dimensions (change management, human resources, modern technology, job tasks) in achieving the quality of academic performance among faculty members at King Khalid University. Besides, it deducted statistically significant differences for organizational change and the quality of academic performance of faculty members according to the following demographic variables (gender, rank, years of experience). The researchers used the descriptive methodology; A random sample was chosen the data were collected through a questionnaire which (221) faculty members responded to. The research showed that the reality of the role of organizational change came to a large degree. The results also revealed statistically significant differences according to the variables of gender in favor of (females), and the scientific rank in favor of the professor rank. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences according to the variable of years of experience.
