Developing Self-Learning Skills and Motivation towards Learning of Students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan in Light of Using the Microsoft Teams Application

The study aimed to find out the role of utilizing the Microsoft Teams application on the developing self- learning skills and motivation for learning among educational science students at the University of Jordan. A descriptive survey methodology was used, Participants were chosen using the proportional stratified random sampling method from the students of Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan, and the sample consisted of 244 male and female students. The study tools consisted of a self- learning scale composed of 30 items, distributed across four domains, organizational skills, guidance and control skills, skills in utilizing learning resources, and self-evaluation skills. As well as motivation to learn, scale composed of 25 items. The findings of the study showed that using the Microsoft Teams application in developing self-learning skills came with a high degree. Also showed that using the Microsoft Teams application in enhancing motivation towards learning among students of educational sciences at the University of Jordan came with a high degree.
