Proposed Educational Administrative Procedures to Activate the Role of Vocational School Principals in Palestine as Resident Educational Supervisors in Light of Status Quo and Contemporary Trends in Educational Supervision

Abstract

The study aimed to propose educational administrative procedures to activate the role of vocational school principals in Palestine as resident educational supervisors in light of status quo and contemporary trends in educational supervision. The study population, in which the descriptive developmental approach was used, consisted of all (19) public vocational secondary school principals in Palestine, and all (357) teachers working with them. The results of the study showed that the degree to which vocational school principals in Palestine practice their supervisory roles as resident educational supervisors was high. Accordingly, the researchers built educational administrative procedures to activate the role of vocational school principals in Palestine as resident educational supervisors, confirmed their suitability to the Palestinian environment, and recommended that the Palestinian Ministry of Education adopt it.
