The Effect of a Proposed Rehabilitation Program on Self-Confidence of some Players with an Ankle Sprains

This study aimed to identify the effect of a proposed rehabilitation program on self-confidence of some players with an ankle sp rains. The researcher used the semi-experimental mehodohgy, and a rehabilitative treatment program was designed, and a scale was designed to measure the level of self-confidence. The sample consisted of (30) players who were divided into two groups, which were selected using the available method, one of which was a control group that consisted of (15) players, and an experimental one that consisted of (15) players with sports injuries in Irbid governorate, who were attending the physiotherapy center at the Founding King Hospital in (Ramtha Brigade). The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the scores of the study sample on the self-confidence scale according to the psychological rehabilitation treatment program, and it was in favor of the experimental group, where the rehabilitation and psychological treatment program worked to improve the condition of the person with sprained ankle joint and improve the degree of confidence By improving the range of motion of the joint. In light of these results, the researcher recommends using the therapeutic, rehabilitation and psychological program because of its positive benefits in improving the range of motion of the ankle joint and increasing self-confidence.
