Abstract

The study aimed to validate the ruminative thought style questionnaire in the Jordanian environment by extracting its validity and reliability. The study sample consisted of 500 bachelor university students from public universities in Amman. The study validates the ruminative thought style scale by translation-retranslation from specialists. The content validity, internal validity, and factorial validity were calculated. Also, for reliability internal consistency and split-half were extracted. The results showed         that the scale has appropriate validity and reliability psychometrics.
