The current study aimed to explore the level of participation of educational counselors in professional development programs based on artificial intelligence applications. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical methodology and included a sample of 127 male and female educational counselors, selected through simple random sampling. To achieve the study's objective, a questionnaire was developed as the main research tool; its validity and reliability were verified. The results indicated that the level of participation of educational counselors in professional development programs based on artificial intelligence applications was medium. Additionally, the findings revealed statistically significant differences in participation levels based on gender, favoring males. However, no significant differences were found based on academic qualification or years of experience. The study concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which are: the necessity for educational institutions to provide specialized training programs to help educational counselors learn how to use artificial intelligence technologies, and for the Ministry of Education and relevant training entities to launch awareness campaigns and practical workshops to familiarize counselors with the importance of artificial intelligence in educational counseling.
